Saturday Social Ride – 7th September

This Saturday sees some of the world’s top bike riders sampling the Ayrshire country roads. But enough about the Burners, the Tour of Britain will be there too !!!

As a result, our usual Saturday Social Ride will be delayed slightly to give us the opportunity to head out and see how the pros tackle the roads we use week in, week out.

Instead of the usual 9.30 start, we’ll be meeting at the Burns Museum at 11am. The plan is to ride over to Straiton and set up camp at a suitable point up Largs to watch them go past. After that we’ll make our way back to the Burns Museum as normal (and confuse the café staff with our late arrival).

It promises to be an impressive sight and even the weather forecast looks good, so let’s have a good turnout to cheer them on.
