New Year’s Day Mast Run

Just in case you thought we’d forgotten about it, this is the reminder for the traditional Burners Ne’er Day Mast Run.

As usual, we’ll meet in the Savoy Park Hotel car park, setting off at 10.30 for a sedate run along to the bottom of Carrick Hill, followed by an even more sedate climb up to the mast.

Once we’ve caught our breath, we’ll head back to Ayr for a coffee at …. well, wherever’s open. This year, we took the staff at Caffe Nero by surprise – they weren’t expecting 20+ cyclists on an otherwise very quiet morning, so it took a while to get served. It might be a good idea if we warn them in advance this time …

So, Wednesday 1st January (just in case there’s any doubt) at 10.30am at Savoy Park Hotel. Be there and start 2020 in style !!!
