‘Dunc Bunch’ TT results now in!

Ayr Burners held their inaugural Pennyglen time trial on Saturday 5th August. Excellent weather conditions contributed to some superb performances from the 14 Burners who took part. More importantly however, a great time was had by all with the craic mighty, excuses aplenty, and the tea and cakes back at the Burns Centre enjoyed by all. Apologies for the delay in posting the results – technical difficulties – you know who you are!!

7 PBs were achieved around the TT circuit with a special mention going to Janet Brooks and Joanne Clark who both achieved top 5 positions in the overall Strava ladies rankings – well done Janet and Jo.

The Troon posse scooped top honours with JP Baxter winning the men’s time trial and Joanne Clark the ladies. Gary Currie took mountain stage honours with Martin Carmichael winning the Sprint section.

The Saturday Morning “regulars” Dunc Bunch honours went to our very own Duncan MacArthur who set a cracking time of 46.39. He has assured us that normal service will resume and this Saturdays pace will be slightly easier!!

Well done to everyone who took part.
