Challenge Series Update – Round 3
Our 8 round ‘Challenge Series’ is well under way. At the end of our ‘10% of Tommy‘ quest, just five members managed to cover 10% of the gruelling schedule Tommy Godwin set as part of his 1939 year-long world record. Congratulations to Alex, David, JP, Alec and Duncan who all exceeded 631km and gained 100 points.
The final table for the three week challenge can be seen below and here
This means that only Duncan and Alex have scored maximum points in the last two rounds, giving them a brief lead.
However, we expect a major shake up with our next two challenges, running simultaneously.
- Challenge 4: Greatest distance in a day (a point for each km covered)
- Challenge 5: Greatest ascent in a week (a point for every 50metres climbed).
