Biggest jumble yet!

The Ayrshire cycle jumble took place on Saturday afternoon at the Citadel Leisure Centre in Ayr. Now in its 3rd year this gathering proves popular with cyclists from near and far, with everyone in search of that elusive bargain or bike related rarity. 16 stall holders were strategically set up in the hall to entice buyers with all remarking that a good days trading was had.
This weekend Ayr Burners Cycling QTS hit the Southern Upland Way for a day of off road adventuring.
Starting from Sanquhar at 10am the Burners will first tackle the impressive Mennock Pass before taking on one of the toughest climbs in the UK – Green Lowther Hill, with its relentless gradient and iconic ‘golf ball’ at the summit where favourable weather can provide some stunning views across South West Scotland and beyond. After a cafe stop in Wanlockhead the return to Sanquhar is via the trails of the Southern Upland Way. A mountain bike or cross bike is suitable for the route.
