Happy New Year 2026

Happy New Year to all Burners, friends and family. Hopefully we’ll enjoy a great year of cycling in lovely weather, although it’s not exactly looking promising at the moment !!!

Having said that, New Year’s Day saw the traditional run up to the Masts on Carrick Hill, in unseasonably ice-free and dry conditions.

That was followed by an equally traditional coffee and cake at Caffe Nero on the High Street (one of the very few places open on New Year’s Day).
