QTS Sponsorship Update

Despite the coronavirus pandemic, 2021 starts on a positive footing for the Burners as we proudly announce the continuation of our long-standing relationship with the good folks at QTS.

Since 2015, this funding has enabled us to organize and promote events, encourage new cyclists, and help develop young local cycling talent amongst many other great things.

Highlights include – 

Welcoming over 1,000 riders to the ‘Doonbank Trofee’ Cyclocross races at Rozelle Park in Ayr …

Joining forces with other local volunteer groups to bring 2 National Trophy races to Irvine Beach Park, with almost 1500 competitors taking part …

Hosting 3 ‘Ayrshire Alps Sportives’ with every edition sold out …

Supporting over 100 adults to become regular cyclists …

Hugely successful ‘Sparks’ activities which have seen hundreds of kids riding bikes before starting school …

Not forgetting watching young Burner Harry McGarvie win the ‘Super Quaich’ National Series and race with the world’s best cyclists in Belgium …

None of these fantastic achievements would have been possible without the continuous support of the QTS group.
