King Edwards first to be crowned!

Ayr Burners’s member James Edwards is the first rider to complete our Ayrshire Alps Challenge! With a morning ride from Straiton to bag the climbs of Tairlaw, Glenalla Auchenairn, Nic O Balloch and Tairlaw Shalloch, James completed all 16 climbs in the park and scored a maximum 125 points!

Not to be outdone, Alex Hamilton is close in pursuit and expected to complete his final six climbs tomorrow. Meanwhile, plenty of members will have the chance to open their challenge series account this Saturday with out Ayrshire Alps Ride from Straiton, taking in Knockgardner, Glenalla, Nic O Balloch and Tairlaw Shalloch will all finishers netting 25 points.
