Burners Celebrate 2nd Birthday

Ayr Burners Cycling QTS celebrated their 2nd Birthday on Sunday with an afternoon of festivities at the Savoy Park Hotel.
Chair Christopher Johnson welcomed sixty Burners to the event where the proceedings started with the annual reports from the Chair and the Treasurer Rod Henderson. With over 150 members joining in 2016 the Burners are in fine health and are looking to expand and develop further in 2017.  Christopher thanked each and every Burner for their participation and help throughout the year, with special mention to the many volunteers who made every Ayr Burners Cycling event and activity a resounding success – From the 11 qualified ride leaders, to the parents of the ‘Sparks’ balance bikers, to the open event organisers.
